National Disaster Averted as attack targets 3 Ministers

A suspected terrorist known as John Apkabu was today apprehended by the Security operatives at the headquarters of the Federal Radio Co-operation called Radio House in Garki Abuja.

The man was arrested with several rounds of 7mm ammunitions and hand grenades.

The said man was intercepted by security operatives at the Venue of the ongoing  Ministerial Platform to access the performance of Federal Ministries within the last one year.

The Minister of Justice (Bello Adoke); Aviation (Stella Oduah); Youth and Sports (Bolaji Abdullahi); are ministers listed to present their scorecards today.

The Chief Security Officer of the complex said the man was walking towards the venue of the briefing when he was detained. As at press time he was yet to be interrogated on his motives.
The Ministerial Platform coordinated by the Information Ministry to commemorate the Nations Democracy day.

More 300 persons were said to have gathered at the briefing to follow the programmes and activities of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

To God be the Glory for the disaster averted as the attack if successful would have been a major set back in Nigeria’s current administration.
As at the time of filing this report, no militant or terrorist group have claimed responsibility for the averted attacks at the Radio House Abuja but
Nigeria has been under siege by terrorist groups known as the Boko Haram Islamic Sect.
